Condolences
Ivo Etta Mac Etchu Nephew November 25, 2020

As the years roll on and days pass by in our hearts, a memory is kept of the ones we loved and will never forget.

Mami, I always think of you, crying.and cannot belief that it has been 7 years (November 24th) since your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only takes the best to be with Him forever. God has you in his keeping, but we have you in our hearts. We will for ever love you.

I was so privileged to have you as my very special aunt and mother that meant so very much to me. You were such an important member of our family, if only we could have you here longer! I am so grateful that some day I will see you again and get to spend eternity with you.

Mami, as we all look back over time, we find ourselves wondering if we did remember to thank you enough for all you did for us: We wonder if we ever thanked you for the sacrifices you made, letting us all have the very best in life. Mami, If we did forget to show our gratitude enough for all you did, we're thanking you now that you are with the Lord, hoping you knew all along, how much you meant to us all.

Job Orjioke Ashia to the Anoma Family May 21, 2016

My condolences to the Anoma family who I remember with a lot of fondness and nostalgia in my growing up years in Buea Town. Iknew mama Anoma very well as a 7-9 year old in the late 60s. My mom and Mrs Anoma were members of the Catholic Women Association Buea then...when Fr Anthony Van der Vlught and later Father Lambert and then Fathers Awa (later Bishop), Vedzekov (later Bishop), Ndichia and Atang were parish priests at St Anthony's Buea.

My mom, Mama Orji and Ma Anoma were also personal friends.

Eric was my senior at RCM Buea Town where Ma Anoma was headmistress I think....but we all served mass then; with Emmanuel Doh, Gervase Ndoko, Gervase Endeley, my older brother Zack Orji, Alphonsus Fum, Augustine Akwarandu etc in those days. The Anomas lived up the hill from last town where the Orjis, the Dohs and the Abunaws lived.

I remember ma Anoma in those years cos she was at St Anthony's as a teaching staff and my mom, Mama Orji used to send me on errands to her in those days. I remember Pa Anoma too. He was a Police Officer in the days when that profession had immense clout. As a child, I always saw him as a strict, firm but fair man.

Oh how those golden years of innocence have gone bye.

Eric, Elizabeth, Valentine and the entire family of Pa and Ma Anoma, please accept the condolences of the Orji family from Nigeria. May the LORD Jesus Christ give you all the fortitude to bear the loss and to hold the good name that she and your dad built.

Bless your souls!

Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences December 4, 2013

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;
