Mami, was a good woman who cared and loved us very much. It was heartbreaking to learn of her passing away. May her soil rest in peace and may the family be strong during this time as they escort her to her final resting place.

Farewell

Mami,
It was a life well lived and a race run to the finish line.
Rest in peace in the bossom of our Lord.

On behalf of our family, we pray that God grants the Anoma family comfort and peace. Mamie Anoma and my parents were neighbors in the Bali Park neighborhood and Parishioners at the Njimafor Catholic Church. And yes, Mamie was not just an ordinary Christian, but a true "brother's keeper." Journey well, Mamie. May your legacy live for ever.
 

Some of us were blessed to have Mami as a teacher and would gladly proclaim from the rooftops her role in our nurturance. However, her influence went beyond the classroom as throughout her life she was inspired a whole lot of people, why not generations, showing them the importance of noncognitive skills, which are in shortsupply in our society, and doors not as entrances but thoroughfares. Yes, she was a class act whose onstage script was not different from the off stage one.
And so the bells toll once more announcing the passing of the(?) golden age. Thus, our conflicting emotions: mourning and celebration of plenitude. Mami thank you for your life. To the kids and grandkids, really all of us, let us try to fill the void created by her passing.

A limb has fallen from the Anoma family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me."
