Princess Roseline Tambe Etchu Anoma was born in Bachuo-Akagbe, Mamfe, Cameroon on April 5, 1935 to Ma Elizabeth Ewang and Chief Sam Etchu of Bachuo Akagbe. She passed away on November 24, 2013 in Bamenda, Cameroon.

Mami Anoma acquired Elementary Education at STS Primary School in Fiango, Kumba and later graduated from St. Francis Teachers' Training College in Fiango in 1952.

She got married to Pa Isaac Anoma from Baforchu-Santa in 1953. Their work life took them to Enugu, Nigeria and then to Lagos, Jos and Calabar. In Nigeria, she pursued further education and lived there for many years, teaching at the Roman Catholic Primary School in Coal Camp, Enugu. She became a headmistress of St. George's Catholic Elementary School, Falomo, Lagos.

After returning to Cameroon with family, she was one of the pioneer radio announcers at Radio Buea Cameroon stationed at the Mobile trailer at Clerks Quarters, Buea. She left the radio station in 1963 to become a primary school teacher at St. Anthony's Primary School in Buea Town. She left RCM school as the Headmistress to move with the family to Yaounde where she continued her career at the Ministry of Post and Telecommmunication until her retirement.

Mami Anoma was one of the seven pioneer members of the Catholic Women's Association (CWA). Mami was a dedicated member of Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Njimafor-Mbatu. She also served as WCNU section president for Manyu Division during the period of single-party system in Cameroon.

She is survived by a large family which includes several children at home and abroad, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters and others. She lived a fruitful and wonderful seventy-eight years (Three score and Eighteen), five months shy of her seventy-ninth birthday.

The Lord giveth and the Lord Taketh: Blessed be His Holy Name. It was a fulfilled life for Mami Roseline Anoma and we celebrate her.
