Mama you knew me forever and you loved me that much! My heart hurts so much because I will not be seeing you whenever I want to. One thing is sure, I will always be grateful and thankful to God for the person you were. 24years since you lost your husband, but you are both together again in the presence of God almighty. It must have been really hard living without Pa Isaac but you didn't complain except to Our Lady The Ever-Blessed Virgin Mary! Yes, you had to be strong for the sake of the children. I know because we spent so much time together back then and because I am also a widow now. I can measure your pain and inner solitude. Today, all that is finished. You are a brand new person, Mama and you will be smiling for eternity! But I still miss you. I still miss my school teacher, my younger sister's God-mother, my late father's childhood friend, ...
Thank you for the love you showed me, for the time you gave me, ... I love you too, Mama and I will always do. I will keep you tight in prayer and I know you will do the same for me.

Mami, I visited you in Bamenda a few months ago in May when I was in Cameroon; I thank you for all the love and care that you gave to your big sister, my mom when she was alive and when she passed away 5 years ago. I remember the good meals you and I had together. I also remember all the good stories you told me how I used to be a "stronghead" child and now I have turned from "Boy to Man". Thank you for being there for me and I will keep to the advice you gave me, not forgetting the spit you poured on my palms when I was leaving. Travel well and greet the rest of the family members.
